Jack moved frequently during his childhood years. Being exposed to many places, including Germany and Italy, exposed him early on to a great variety of diverse styles in architecture and home construction and planted the seed for his entry into the field of luxury home construction. In 1968, Jack’s family settled in Monterey and he attended San Jose State as a zoology and environmental science major. Jack received his contractor’s license in 1977 and started his construction career building solar homes. In fact, Jack has been credited with building the first solar home in Santa Cruz County. Today, Keenan Construction builds high-end, custom homes for clients on the Central Coast. Building homes of this caliber is a major undertaking, and a conscientious builder like Jack Keenan respects the monetary and emotional investment his clients are making. With that in mind, Jack makes himself available to clients to guide them through every stage of development.
